Week THREE of the ORC - the Guest Bedroom Retreat
Oh hey there, guests! I thought I was making over this room for you....but once we set up the bed and threw on the new sheets...well, Miss Juniper looked delighted that she was finally getting her big girl room:)
In all seriousness, look at us-look at this progress! I am SO excited to have new floors (you have to realize how important this type of thing is to us - previous California renters for SO LONG...). We have a bed - I wanted that square frame (you will see why when you see my plans for above it in the coming 3 weeks!) and my heart was set on gold. The nightstands are from Marketplace and the rug came from Wayfair...
Now that the texture is removed from the ceilings, I am really excited to add trim and am still working on some ideas I have for the overhead design. Last but not least, I would like to share that I had a nice list of things I wanted to pick up to add some fun details to the room....but I ended up with only this yellow flower (not on the list!!), I am the type of shopper who pays a lot of attention to detail. I find things I like and am so-so about; that give me GREAT ideas for what I actually want in the room...but then I end up searching for EXACTLY what I want and end up having to wait a bit. My mom can tell you how this went with prom dress shopping....but the right thing ALWAYS pops up before I need it, I swear!
